Edgar Javier Molina passed away November 10, 2020 at the age of 40 in Dallas, Texas. He was born December 29, 1979 to Francisco Javier Molina and Maria Cruz Vega in Chihuahua, Mexico. Edgar married Raquel Sylvia Salas on August 17, 2002 in Frisco, Texas. He was a member of El Shaddai in McKinney, Texas where he served as a worship leader, Sunday school teacher, sound technician and anywhere else he was asked to serve. His greatest accomplishments were not something you hang in a frame or see on a plaque with recognition from a university or an organization but rather he stored his treasures in Heaven. Edgar’s greatest accomplishment was loving his wife and adoring his children.
Edgar is survived by his wife, Rachel Molina of McKinney, Texas; children, Caleb Nehemiah Molina, Yehoshua Levi Molina, Selah Marisylvia Molina and Solomon Asher Molina of McKinney, Texas; father, Francisco Molina of Princeton, Texas; mother, Maria C. Molina of Frisco, Texas; brothers, Erick Molina and wife, Mandelyn of Cave Creek, Arizona, Yarick Molina of Dallas, Texas; David Molina and wife, Jannet of Frisco, Texas; Daniel Molina and wife, Heidiy of Frisco, Texas and Eddy Molina of Princeton, Texas; sister Francine Molina of Princeton, Texas; grandfather, Francisco Molina, Sr. and a host of other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his two unborn children; grandfather, Blas Vega Martinez; grandmother, Nicholosa Vega Torres and Edgar was joined by his other grandmother, Maria Elena Molina the next day, November 11, 2020.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., November 16, 2020, at First McKinney Baptist Church, 1615 West Louisiana Street, McKinney, Texas 75069.
Following the funeral service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service where all are invited to attend maintaining social distancing.
