Eddie Leon Jackson

Eddie Leon Jackson of Garland, Texas passed away May 6, 2021 at the age of 70.  He was born on March 31, 1951 to Guy Walter Jackson and Eddie Ree (Smith) Jackson in McKinney, Texas.  Eddie served his country proudly in the United States Army.  He married Toni Washington on October 28, 1991 in Dallas, Texas.  Eddie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Toni W. Jackson of Garland, Texas; son, Ronnie Jackson; daughters, Angela Alieu and husband, Shakure of Bowie, Maryland and Natalie Jackson Agaza and husband, Amir of Kiryat Yam, Israel; grandchildren, Iman Alieu, Eiliya Agaza, and Hallil Agaza; sisters, Callie Faye Bollin and husband, Mack, Patria Holmes, and Daisy Hart and husband, Kenneth; brothers, Homer C. Jackson and wife, Patricia and Danny Jackson; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Guy Walter and Eddie Ree Jackson; sister, Sharon Duckett; brother, Walter Jackson; brothers-in-law, Thomas Duckett and Homer Holmes.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the funeral service.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.  The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Eddie’s obituary page by clicking on the following link:  https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/eddie-leon-jackson.  After the service, the recorded live steam will be available for viewing at the same link location.  Interment is to follow at

Should the maximum number of guests be reached, those who would like to honor Eddie and show their support to his family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.

Interment with Military Honors will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.

A “come and go” visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen.  Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.
