Ed McAdoo

Ed McAdoo, Vice President of Corporate Operations and resident of Allen, Texas, died unexpectedly on January 1, 2018 at the age of 51.  

Ed is survived by his wife, Melissa McAdoo (Serpas); his children, Joshua Dalton and Megan Elise McAdoo; his brother, Bennie Frank McAdoo Jr. and his sister, Kimberly Lebrun. He was preceded in death by his father, Bennie Frank McAdoo Sr. and mother, Sherry Ann (Kindred) McAdoo.

Ed was born in Jefferson, Texas on February 19, 1966. He graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1990 with a BS in Criminal Justice. He spent the last 24 years leading sales, marketing, sales operations and sales product development in sales training and CRM consulting firms in some of the world's best companies. Prior to that, Ed served the State of Texas as a Dallas Police Officer. On June 28, 1997 he married Melissa, the love of his life whom he met in 1992. Later, on July 8, 1998 and May 13, 2003 respectively, he welcomed his beautiful son and daughter who were the most important part of his life. 

Ed was a devoted husband and father. His wife and children were his pride and joy. As a former Eagle Scout, he naturally enjoyed the outdoors, camping and hunting. Ed was a problem-solver who often took on unwanted and difficult projects at work and around the house. He was a spiritual man, a man of faith who was a true servant of God always having a positive outlook on life no matter the circumstances. Ed will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

A memorial mass is scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on January 12 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1516 N. Greenville Ave. Allen, Texas 75002. A Rosary Vigil is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on January 11 at St. Jude Catholic Church.
