Easter M. Shaw, age 78, of Melissa, Texas, passed away May 20, 2009, in Frisco, Texas. Easter was born September 8, 1930 in Kemp, Texas, her mother was Dorothy Thomas Shaw. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Melissa, Texas. Easter was a housekeeper in Anna for over thirty years. She is survived by her daughters, Dorothy Shaw of McKinney, Texas and Mona Hartfield and her husband, Robert, also of McKinney; and grandson, Braylon Hartfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Houston Scott Thomas Shaw, and aunt, Helen Jackson. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation to be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Monday to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
