Charles Dyon Cantrell, age 77, of Princeton, Texas passed away November 24, 2004, in Allen, Texas. He was born April 21, 1927, in Altoga, Texas to Charles Elmer and Martha Lou (Sandidge) Cantrell. He married Billie F. Hendricks on June 30, 1945 in McKinney, Texas. After her passing, he married Jean Rae Button Long on January 26, 1968, in McKinney. Mr. Cantrell was a longtime banker and insurance agent in Princeton. He was past president of North Texas Municipal Water District and a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Princeton, Texas. He is survived by his daughter, Donna Renee Jackson and husband, Lannie of Coppell, Texas; grandchildren, Kristi Swords of Keller, Texas, Misty Penn of Flower Mound, Texas and Nikki Sipe of Helotes, Texas; 4 great grandchildren, Lauren, Sterling and Christian Swords and Presley Penn; sister, Sue Umphress of McKinney, Texas; sister-in-law, Martha Ann Mogle; and brother-in-law, Roger Scott Hendricks. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Billie F. Cantrell and second wife, Jean Rae Cantrell; parents, Charlie and Martha Cantrell; and father and mother-in-law, W.B. and Toni Hendricks. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Stan Fike officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Monday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
