Mrs. Drotha Mae Cornelius, age 87, of Celina, Texas passed away May 2, 2007 in Celina. She was born June 19, 1919 in Van Alstyne, Texas to Johnny and Roxie (Smithammer) Whitaker. She married Jim Ray Cornelius in March 1950 in Denton, Texas. Mrs. Cornelius was a cosmetologist and a member of the First Christian Church. She is survived by; son, Don Keith Cornelius of Celina, Texas; daughter, Sara Willard and husband Bob of Lucas, Texas; grandchildren, Bobby Ray, Don and Ronnie Willard and eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. Graveside Services will be held Friday, May 4, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Old Celina Cemetery with Reverend Carl Thorell officiating. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Thursday, May 3, 2007 to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 6:00 pm at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow in Celina.
