William “Carey” Hall, age 67, of Richardson, Texas, passed away on July 16, 2017. He was born on May 9, 1950, in Lyons, Georgia to Silas Wade and Lilouise Williams Hall. Carey proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a pharmacist, for eighteen years, where he retired as a Lt. Col. He married Patricia Mae Liscombe in Tallahassee, Florida, in November 1986. Carey was a sports enthusiast, loved playing senior softball, and was an active member of Murphy Road Baptist Church in Murphy, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Mae Hall of Richardson, Texas; daughters, Pamela Gail Hall of San Antonio, Texas, and Laura Leslie Wiggins of Vidalia, Georgia; stepdaughter Kelli Lynn Carter of Elk Grove, California; stepsons Michael Phillip Liscombe of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Marcus Patrick Liscombe of Forney, Texas; grandchildren, Aaron Michael Brysch of Indianapolis, Indiana, Daniel Broderick Brysch of San Antonio, Texas, Philip Hayden Wiggins of Vidalia, Georgia; Alicia Whipple of Michigan, Jessie Whipple of Holton, Kansas, and Kaileigh Chapman of Duluth, Minnesota; brother, Randall Wade Hall of Oviedo, Florida; sister, Shirley Hall Faulk of Reidsville, GA; many other loving relatives and friends.
Carey is preceded in death by his parents, Silas Wade and Lilouise Hall; and stepdaughter, Kimberly Louise Chapman.
The family will receive friends during a visitation being held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday evening, July 23, 2017 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, July 24 at Murphy Road Baptist Church, 411 S. Murphy Road, Murphy, Texas 75094. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 a.m., Monday, August 14, 2017 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
