Roderick Stuart Barclay, age 66, of Plano, Texas passed away June 12, 2005, at the Medical Center of Plano. He was born on October 6, 1938, in Las Vegas, Nevada to Robert Stuart and Wanda H. (Proebstel) Barclay. On June 12, 1981, he married Linda Marie Vollmar in Cleveland, Ohio. He retired as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. After retiring from the Air Force, he received his PhD in Accounting. He retired from Texas A&M University and formerly taught at UTD. He is survived by his wife, Linda Barclay of Plano and other family members. His parents; sister, Thelma and brother, Richard preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 18, 2005, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Grapevine Opry Association.
