Douglas James Dunn of McKinney, Texas passed away February 15, 2019 at the age of 59. He was born on August 20, 1959 to James Harold Dunn and Lottie (Johnston) Dunn in Dallas, Texas. Douglas married Debra Bonham in Dallas. He worked for Texas General as a plumber and retired in 2011. Douglas was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed working on his Mustang.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Dunn of McKinney, Texas; sons, Michael Dunn of Wills Point, Texas and Jeremy Douglas Dunn and wife, Lacey of Garland, Texas; daughter, Brittani Nichole Miles and husband, Rob of McKinney, Texas; nine grandchildren, Shelby Nichole, Justice Jeremy, Ford Douglas, Mason Douglas, Levi, Devon, Autumn, Haley, and Shea; brother, David Ray Dunn of Omaha, Texas and sisters, Diane Jones and husband, Larry of Bonham, Texas and Debbie Bloham and husband, Bill of Omaha, Texas.
Douglas was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lottie Dunn.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment is to follow in Plano Mutual Cemetery, 18th Street and Jupiter Road, Plano, Texas 75074. The family will receive friends during a visitation Monday evening from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
