Mrs. Dorothy Jo (Woody) Wright of Farmersville, Texas passed away January 19, 2022 in Farmersville, Texas. She was born February 19, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas the daughter of O.B. and Margaret Jo Wilcoxson Forshee.
She graduated from Farmersville High School and was a life long resident of Farmersville. She was a medical secretary and in her later years was active in the community as the director of the Senior Citizens Center in Farmersville for 7 years. Woody was a member of the First Baptist Church In Farmersville.
Woody married Jerry Wright November 27, 1965 in Farmersville, Texas and he preceded her in death June 11, 2013. Woody was also preceded in death by her parents and 1 daughter Carla Lynn Wright. She is survived by her son Keith Wright of Greenville, Texas. She is also survived by her sisters: Lela Hurst and husband Mike of Farmersville, Martha Honea and husband Jimmie of McKinney, Texas, brothers, Wade Forshee and wife Dianne of Farmersville, Texas and Billy Womble Forshee and wife Virginia of McKinney. Texas. Woody is also survived by her brother in law Kenneth Wright and wife Sharon of Merit, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at the first baptist church on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in her honor.
