Dorothy Ann Johnson, age 76, of McKinney, Texas, passed away, September 13, 2007, in Plano, Texas. She was born on March 7, 1931, in Kentuckytown, Texas, to James Wesley and Lillie Washington (Davis) Decker. On May 9, 1947, she married Aubrey Henry Johnson in McKinney, Texas. He preceded her in death on July 10, 2003. Dorothy worked as a nurse in the 1940’s at Scottish Rite Hospital and later worked at the Wysong Clinic in the 70’s and 80’s. She was active at the Senior Citizens Center in McKinney. She was also a member of the Bible Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, James and his wife Andrea Johnson of McKinney, Texas, Roger and his wife Caren Johnson of Anna, Texas, Danny and his wife Bobbye Jo Johnson of Leonard, Texas, Harold and his wife Dixie Johnson of Whitewright, Texas, and Vickie and her husband Larry Kennon of Farmersville, Texas; 16 grandchildren, Kristine, Luther, Omar, Tara, Joey, Sam, Joel, Amanda, Zachary, Ashley, Derek, Devin, Darin, Daniel, McLain and Aubrey; 12 great-grandchildren, Lane, Larry, Kaylie, Kelsie, Lacie, Alex, Adrienne, Camryn, Laila, Austin, Alivia, Ethan; sisters, Lillie Faye Taylor of Blue Ridge, Texas, and Martha Ellsworth of McKinney, Texas; brothers, Wesley Eugene Decker of Allen, Texas, and Bobby Lee Decker of Branch, Texas; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and sister, Mary Frances Wilbanks. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 17, 2007, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday, beginning at 4:00 p.m.
