Mrs. Doris Marie Johnson went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 23, 2026, at the age of 92. She was born on February 9, 1934, in Dallas, Texas to Walter Long and Velma (Dodd) Long. Doris was united in marriage to Cecil Ray Johnson on May 24, 1974, in Rockwall, Texas. They were members of the Primitive Baptist Church of Farmersville for many years.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Coplen, daughter, Debbie Dingman and her husband Doug, her grandchildren, Mitchell and Nick Coplen, and their mother Gabriela Coplen, Misty Odle, Ray Vega, and Jessica Neil, her 3 great grandchildren, and her sister, Katheryn Young.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Cecil Ray Johnson, her son, Gary Allen Coplen, parents, Walter and Velma Long, and her brother, Tim Long.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
