Doris Janet Klemencic

November 17, 1925 - October 5, 2020

Doris Janet Klemencic of McKinney, Texas passed away October 5, 2020 at the age of 94.  She was born on November 17, 1925 to Frank Majer and Frances (Owen) Majer in Cleveland, Ohio. 

Left to treasure Doris’ memory are daughters, Diane Dickson and husband, Ian of McKinney, Texas and Darlene Botheras and husband, Jim of Oakhurst, California; grandson, Jimmy; great-grandchildren, Mya and Zac; numerous other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph A. Klemencic; parents, Frank and Frances Majer; brothers, Frank and Stanley; and sisters, Frances, Josephine and Mamie.

Doris will be laid to rest next to her husband, Rudy at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the Memorial Service.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2020 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.  and will also be live streamed on the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Facebook page.  A recorded video will be available following the funeral service on Doris’ obituary page.

However, when the maximum number of guests are reached, those who would like to honor Doris and show their support to her family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.

Memorial contributions may be made in Doris’ honor to Disabled American Veterans Association, www.dav.org. would be appreciated by the family.
