Mrs. Doris Holl, age 77 of McKinney, Texas and formerly of Oregon City, OR, passed away October 24, 2004 in Plano, Texas. She was born on January 26, 1927 in Edmonds, Washington to Anton and Margaret (Batten) Stuk. She married Charles Holl on November 26, 1993 in San Jose, California. Mrs. Holl’s occupation was in banking as a Bank Teller. She was a member of the American Legion of Women’s Auxiliary in Oregon and the Moose Lodge in San Jose, California. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Al and Sheila Carr of McKinney; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Frank McKannay of Redding, California; grandchildren, Tonya LaPlante of Rockwall, Texas, Tamica Stroud of Lewisville, Texas, and Heather and Adam McKannay; great-grandchildren, Paul LaPlante II and Nathan LaPlante, both of Rockwall; sister, Margie Grisby and husband, Dan of Salem, Oregon; brothers, Al Tiffany of Washington, Floyd Stuk of Portland, Oregon, Leroy Tiffany of Montana, and Patrick Tiffany of Washington; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Manley Tiffany; husband, Charles Holl; and brother, Eddie Tiffany. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Thursday, October 28, 2004, at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM Wednesday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
