Doris F. Bechthold

Doris F. Bechthold, age 75, of Plano, Texas, passed away October 31, 2008, in Plano. Doris was born January 26, 1933 in San Angelo, Texas, to Thurman and Violet O. (Homesley) Light. She married Howard Bechthold on October 6, 1951, in Alice, Texas and was a member of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Howard Bechthold; daughters, Deborah L. Hurst and husband, Harold E. of Gordonville, Texas, Michele Price and husband, Tim of Aberdeen, South Dakota, and Gaye Lynn Glay and husband, Randy of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Amy Hernandez of Plano, Texas, Jessica Price of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Libby Price of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Trevor Glay of Plano, Texas; great-grandchild, Alex Hernandez of Plano, Texas; brother, Doyle Light of Alice, Texas; numerous other loving relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Doris loved to laugh and tell stories. She cherished her family and her friends and will be greatly missed by all. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 4, 2008, at Custer Road United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas with Dr. Ron Henderson officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 – 9:00 PM, Monday, November 3, 2008 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Exit 38, Allen, Texas, 75013. The occasional visit we had as I passed through Plano on my way to my daughter's in Arkansas. I still have the memories of when we were kids and met at Grandma's at Christmas.
