Donna Kay Switch of McKinney, Texas passed peacefully on June 21, 2020.
Kay was born on November 1, 1946 to Halland and Mary Jane (Hendrix) Burt in LaPorte, Texas. Kay studied Radiology at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. She was an x-ray technician for many years and then became a scheduling coordinator at the Carrell Clinic in Dallas. Kay never passed up a moment to make someone laugh or to love on one of her Grandsons. Kay was well known for her Strawberry cake making skills and her eclectic style. She enjoyed talking on the phone to friends and shopping at her favorite store Cotton Hearts in downtown McKinney. Kay also spent years volunteering and fostering Wheaten Terrier dogs with the Wheatens In Need Rescue organization.
She is survived by her daughters, Cara Switch of McKinney, Tx and Casey Switch of Dallas, Tx; her beloved Grandsons Reece Littrell, Benjamin Littrell, and Caden Smith; and numerous other loving family friends.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Halland and Mary Jane Burt.
