My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I grew up across the street from Don and Ron on South Spencer St. They were about 10 years older than I, but I always looked up to them and Carol. We are all East High graduates.
Jerry Chase, October 10, 2019 Marge & the Glossop Family, So very sorry to hear that Don has passed . Prayers sent for you all. Rest in Paradise, Don. Pamela Lacey ( Koon), October 10, 2019 We truly miss our dear friend Don. We met at church in Detroit more than 50 years ago, where we studied the Bible and prayed for each other in a small group for many years. From there we formed a lasting friendship that can never be replaced. We truly enjoyed Marge, the party waiting to happen, and Don, the genius engineer. We had such fun times sharing a condo for a month in Kauai—dinners out, trips to the canyon, trips to Hanalei, the beach, and many games of Hand and Foot. We will never forget Don walking Dave down the hall to explain to him that as his partner, he needed to shape up if they were to beat the girls. And getting up in the morning to see Don placing his sliced bananas on his cereal so that each slice got sugar was a hoot. Fortunately, Don always took our teasing in stride. Don was a kind, gentle soul. We know he is enjoying the best years of his life now, and that his life will continue for eternity with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
