Dominador De Leon Cabuhat, age 89, of Plano, Texas, passed away May 9, 2011, in Frisco, Texas. Dominador was born November 5, 1921 in Cavinti, Laguna, Philippines to Simplicio and Isidra (De Leon) Cabuhat. He married Rosalina Juarez on July 29, 1944 in Cavinti, Laguna, Philippines. Blessed with four daughters and one son who passed away at birth. FARMER, TEACHER, PUBLIC SERVANT, AUTHOR Born and raised in Cavinti, Laguna Education: Elementary: Cavinti Elementary School High School: Malate Catholic School Laguna High School College: Gregg Business College Union College of Laguna (BSE) Union College of Manila (MA) Founder: General Cailles High School in 1950, now Cavinti Academy, Cavinti, Laguna Mayor: Municipality of Cavinti, Province of Laguna 1964-1980 (4 Consecutive Terms) Board Member: Provincial Board Member, Province of Laguna 1980-1986 Trustee: Caliraya Development Commission 1967-1980 Member: Magdapio Club, Laguna Private Schools Association, Laguna Mayors’ League, Marking’s Fil-American Irregular Troops, Philippine Veteran Legion, American Legion, Rotary Club of Sta. Cruz, Laguna. Writer and Author of several English and Tagalog books currently being sold at National Book Stores in the Philippines. His last books, English-Tagalog Dictionary is currently being edited for publication in the Philippines and English-Spanish Dictionary being edited for publication in the United States. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, on Saturday, May 14, 2011, at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas with Fr. Jet Garcia officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00pm. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday, May 12th and Friday, May 13th between 6pm and 9pm at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas with rosary beginning at 7pm.
