Mr. Dickie Brian Thompson of Princeton, Texas passed away September 9, 2016 in McKinney, Texas. He was born September 25, 1964 in McKinney, Texas, the son of Charles Dickie and Wilma Winborn Thompson. He married Donna Kennedy March 17, 2001 in Farmersville, Texas and he was a graduate of Farmersville High School and was employed at Raytheon Systems in McKinney, Texas for 35 years as a technician.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Thompson of Princeton, Texas and children: Halie (Piglet) Thompson of Princeton, Texas, Kyle Thompson of Dallas, Texas, Ashley Sims and husband Elmer of Canton, Texas, Alisha Evans of McKinney, Texas and Darin Evans of Sylvester, Texas; siblings, Charlie Thompson and wife Kathleen of Farmersville, Texas, Shannon Thompson and wife Erin of Princeton, Texas and Lori Thompson of Farmersville, Texas; his parents, Dickie and Wilma Thompson of Farmersville, Texas; and his grandchildren, Jayden and Jazzie Brit and Clay Evans and Amiela Sims.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Pathway Church in Farmersville, Texas with Charlie Thompson, Marti Garner and Sam Kilpatrick officiating. Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmersville, Texas. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Hurst’s Fielder Baker Funeral Home in Farmersville, Texas.
