Dianna Lynn Andrews

Dianna Lynn Andrews of McKinney, Texas passed away on August 24, 2020 at the age of 64. She was born December 2, 1955 to James David and Elizabeth Jane (Parkhurst) Higgins in Flint, Michigan. Dianna grew up in Mesquite, Texas and she graduated from Mesquite High School in 1973. She married Randy Lee Andrews on July 10, 1993 in Dallas, Texas. Dianna worked in the food service industry, for Tom Thumb and later worked in the mortgage industry. She enjoyed home decorating, working outside in the lawn and garden, traveling to Branson, Missouri and most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Dianna is survived by her husband, Randy Lee Andrews of McKinney, Texas; children, Kenny Burns of McKinney, Texas, Karie Monroy of McKinney, Texas, Kevin Burns of McKinney, Texas, Gregory Andrews and wife, Krista of Little Elm, Texas and Jillian Parker and husband, Robert of Flower Mound, Texas; grandchildren, Ally, Isaac, Bella, Landon, Dylan, Fiona, William and Zachary; parents, Elizabeth Jelinek and husband, Jerry of Anna, Texas; brother, Danny Higgins of Arlington, Texas; and a host of other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Higgins and her brother, David Higgins.

A “come and go” visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 31, 2020, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas, and will also be live streamed on the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Facebook page and a recorded video will be available following the funeral service on Dianna’s obituary page.

In support of our local, state, and federal government including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of 100 guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.

However, when the maximum number of guests are reached, those who would like to honor Dianna and show their support to her family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.

Following the funeral service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service where all are invited to attend the committal service maintaining social distancing or you may remain in your vehicle. You will be able to listen to the service through speakers set up at the gravesite.
