Diane Mitchell, age 66, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on March 8, 2025. She was born on February 5, 1959, in Dallas, Texas, to Mr. and Mrs. Jefferson Davis. Diane’s life was one of devotion to family and faith.
Diane married the love of her life, Jerry Don Mitchell, and together they shared many cherished years with many special moments. Diane's greatest joy was her family—her husband, children, and later, her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She poured her heart into caring for her loved ones, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and love.
As a devoted member of the Baptist faith, Diane’s strong spiritual foundation was reflected in her compassion, kindness, and generosity. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her family was the center of her world, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Diane is survived by her beloved husband, Jerry Mitchell of Dallas, Texas; son, Cory Mitchell and wife, Emily of Richmond, Virginia; son, Colton Mitchell and wife, Jenni of Lewisville, Texas; daughter, Lisa Mitchell of Dallas, Texas; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers-in-law, Ron Mitchell and wife, Jo of Red Oak, Texas and Mark Mitchell and wife, Robin of Waco, Texas; sister, Wanda Miguez and husband, Oren of Zavalla, Texas; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandmother that raised her, and two sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Princeton Cemetery, Hwy 380 in Princeton, North on Yorkshire Dr., one quarter mile from Hwy 380 on the left, Princeton, Texas 75407. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the graveside.
