Diane Engel Broderick, age 46, of Prosper, Texas, passed away March 24, 2018. Diane was born October 23, 1971, in Westover, Massachusetts, to Gary and Margaret (Tovey) Engel. She married Andrew Scott Broderick on October 21, 1997, in Nashua, New Hampshire. Diane completed her bachelor degree in political science from Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas. She enjoyed being with family and friends and most importantly she was a nurturing mother to her son.
She is survived by her son, Wil Broderick of Prosper, Texas; mother, Margaret Engel of Plano, Texas; father, Gary Engel and wife, Tammy of Floresville, Texas; brothers, Adam Engel and wife, Cheryl of Frisco, Texas and Devin Engel and wife, Brandy of Fulton, Missouri; sister, Megan Engel of Plano, Texas; grandmother, Jeanne Tovey; extended family, Stephan Dawson and wife, Megan of Fort Worth, Texas and Braxton Dawson of Grand Prairie, Texas; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
