Diana (Cavazos) Castillo, age 58, of Glenn Heights, Texas, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021. She was born on April 4, 1962, in McKinney, Texas, to Irma Hinojosa and Jesus Maria Cavazos. Diana obtained her associate’s degree and worked as a department manager in the retail industry. She married Rigoberto Castillo in Frisco, Texas, on April 7, 2018. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
Diana is survived by her husband, Rigoberto Castillo; her sons, Christopher J. Mayes and his wife, Arelis, of Whitesboro, Texas, and Sean Michael Mayes of Glenn Heights; her grandchildren, Rachel Hernandez, Benjamin Mayes and Abigail Mayes; her brothers, Rojeilo Cavazos (Maria), Oscar Cavazos (Irma), Jesus Cavazos Jr. and Mario Cavazos; her sister, Maria Cavazos (Aurelio Reyes); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Irma Cavazos.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Dr. Frisco, Texas, 75034. Interment will follow at Little Elm Cemetery in Little Elm, Texas.
A “come and go” visitation will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Berkshire Chapel. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.
