You are a good man Don, the world is going to miss you. Charles Bowen , March 17, 2020 My deepest sympathy to Don's wife, children and family. I live in the DC area and years ago when Don was at the Fire Academy for training along with my sister Sally. Sally and Don and a couple of other Plano firefighters came down to stay with me and visit the sites in DC for a weekend. Don even helped to cook a wonderful meal for us at my home. Such a genuinely kind and fun person. He made such a positive impression on me that I still love telling people about the fabulous firefighters from Plano, TX who my sister Sally introduced me to.... Don will be missed by all of us! Susan Susan Olson, March 17, 2020 Goon, you will be missed by many. God bless you dear friend, praying for your family. Much love, Don and Anna Peters Don & Anna Peters, March 15, 2020 What a strong and courageous man we have lost. Rest peacefully our friend. We love you and will miss you so much. Twila Forest, March 15, 2020 Thank you for being a neighbor that went above and beyond sincerity, compassion, understanding. You taught me plenty of things I’ll never forget. You helped create the person I am today. You helped and served countless communities and lives. You definitely made an impact with everyone. I know you're in heaven now. May God be with you in your afterlife and my thoughts and prayers with your family and friends.
Ronnie Hooper Jr, March 13, 2020 My buddy Don will be missed in more ways than one. God called him home and like always Don didn't hesitate he just grabbed his boots and hurried to his calling. I will cherish the time God allowed us to be friends, till we meet again on those streets of gold, ride on my friend.
