Denver Loyd Hall

Denver Loyd (D.L.) Hall, age 88, of Azle, Texas, passed away December 30, 2016.  Denver was born October 2, 1928, in Verona, Texas, to Charles Pritchard and Eileen (Prestige) Hall.  He married Jackie Spencer on March 7, 1951, in Clovis, New Mexico.  Denver was a landscaper and he landscaped the Six Flags Over Texas locations in Texas, Georgia, and Missouri.  His hobbies were music and he loved to play the guitar.  Denver loved life, but more than anything he loved and adored his wife and family.  He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Hall of Azle, Texas; son, Denver Loyd Hall and wife, Linda of Blue Ridge, Texas; daughters, Geneva Jones and husband, Jerry of Dix, Illinois, Weeda Reeder and husband, Terry of Celina, Texas, and Lydia Tate of Azle; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; four brothers; and five sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, George Hall and Jack Hall, son-in-law, Glen Tate, and a loving mother-in-law, Lydia Kindle.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2017, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas.  Interment will follow at Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Lowry Crossing, Texas.  The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
