Dennis Dwayne Farr passed away on January 14, 2022 at the age of 61. He was born on April 3, 1960 to John Murry Farr and Marjorie Hope (Frazier) Farr in Tucson, Arizona. Dennis married Kay Browning on December 31, 1994 in Carrollton, Texas. He graduated from UHK (University of Hard Knocks). Dennis was a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church North in Prosper, Texas.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Kay Farr; daughter, Kayla Hope Farr Umberger and husband, Andrew; stepsons, Russell Reeves and wife, Mary and Ernest Lee Clark; grandchildren, Nolan and Elizabeth Reeves; siblings, William Lewis Farr, Phyllis Elaine Mattox and husband, Billy, Cindy Denise Farr-Morris and husband, James William, Stephanie Michelle Farr-Jones and husband, Tony and John Lee Farr, Sr. and wife, Robin; nieces and nephews, Angela Moore, Madison VonHagel, Jamie VanCleaf, Jeremiah Morris, John Farr, Jr., Travis Farr, William M. Farr and Matthew Farr.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister-in-law, Maria Farr.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 21, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Dennis’ obituary page by clicking on the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/dennis-farr. After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday, January 21, 2022 one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
