IN LOVING MEMORY

Dennis Mikel Cole

Dec 15 1967 - Oct 06 2022

Dennis Mikel Cole, born December 15, 1967, in Madison Wisconsin passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022. He is preceded in death by his niece Kassie Killam and stepson Kaz Dennis. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Reba Counts; children, Corey Cole, Kristen Money and husband Patrick; grandchildren, Karsyn Roberts, Alexis Money, Victoria Money, Addisyn Money; sisters, Brenda Holman and husband, Robert, Sonja Flanigan and Krissy Laskoskie; brothers; Richard Cole and wife, Mariana Brazon-Cole, Shaune Flanigan, William Flanigan and wife Rebecca, Lonnie Flanigan and wife Melissa, Donnie Flanigan and wife Ginessa; stepsister, Kay Cee; stepbrother, Bee Jay; as well as ex-wife and friend Kim Smith, and numerous Uncles, Aunts, nieces, nephews and friends.

Mikel was a life long Houston Astros fan, his most favorite event being when they won the world series. You would think he won the World Series himself. Some of his many other loves and hobbies were old cars and golfing as well as flirting and telling jokes. His favorite being, “pull my finger”.

Mikel often helped others never expecting anything in return. His word was good as gold just like his heart and smile. Mikel was devoted to his family, often heading up competitions with his brothers and pulling pranks on his sisters but when it came to his grandkids he was a melting pops with a personality like no other.

As we all sit here today, heartbroken and tearful for the loss of the son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend we want you to know we love you and we miss you dearly. Although this journey has ended and you have begun a new one, we will hold you in our hearts until we meet up with you again.

A visitation will be held at Hurst’s Fielder Baker Funeral Home on Monday, October 10, 2022, from 10:00am-12:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held the same day at 12:00pm with the burial following the service at I.O.O.F Cemetary in Farmersville, Texas
