Deloris Faye Fowler, age 70, of McKinney, Texas, passed away December 25, 2016. Deloris was born October 21, 1945, in Washington County, Texas, to Eddie and Hulda (Kaechler) Brinkmeyer. Her family moved to McKinney in 1955. On October 19, 1963, Deloris married Davis Wayne Fowler in McKinney. She raised her two children as well as taking wonderful care of her mother-in-law. Deloris volunteered as a Pink Lady at Collin Memorial Hospital for over ten years and received the Volunteer of the Month Award. She loved country music very much and spending all of her spare time with her loving husband.
She is survived by her husband, Davis Wayne Fowler; daughter, Genea Heather and husband, Jimmie; son, Brian Fowler and wife, Sheila; granddaughters, Kathryn McKenzie Carroll, Brookelyne Alexyss Fowler, Julianna Rose Fowler; great-grandchildren, Devada Drake Duane Flowers, Jr., Delyon Ramone Espinosa, and Keyleigh Kay-Marie Johnson; sister, Shirley Brinkmeyer Trietch; and brothers, Carl Brinkmeyer and wife, Paula and Delphine Brinkmeyer and wife, Beth.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Hulda Brinkmeyer, granddaughter, Kristyn Nicole Bell, brother, Eddie Brinkmeyer, Jr., and sister, Lois McCaig.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2016, at Community North Baptist Church in McKinney, Texas. Interment will follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
