Delita Anderson was a caring loving Mother, Grandmother, Niece, and Friend. She left to be with the Lord on September 18, 2023, at age 65.
She was born to Mable Anderson and Otis Drinkard in Los Angeles, CA on October 22, 1957. After Delita graduated from John C. Fremont Senior High School in 1973, she went on to study Nursing at Woodbury College.
In 1985, Delita received the salvation of Jesus Christ at Love, Peace, and Happiness Church in Los Angeles. Delita was passionate about sharing and spreading the word of the Lord. Outreach Ministry was her passion she was very active in the church. Being with her church family and having street fellowship, feeding, and providing toiletries for the less fortunate were some of the many things she loved. She taught her family the hands-on meaning of philanthropy. Delita loved watching old Hollywood movies and spending an occasional evening with friends.
Delita was a dedicated Mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma. She had a vivacious and loving personality and always made people around her laugh. She was a great woman of Faith, strong-willed, and stubborn at times, but she also had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humor. Delita was extremely generous, loyal, and bold. She carried herself with dignity, strength, and full of love. She will be dearly missed and remembered for all the heart she shared with her friends and family.
Delita is survived by her four daughters, Akesha Johnson, Tanisha McIntyre (Husband Brian McIntyre), RaShonda Lind, and Ashley Nichols; Seven Grandchildren, Brittany Murrieta, Anthony Cerda, Nevaeh Johnson, Tryen McIntyre, Elinah Lind, Noah Lind, and Noelle Lind; Five Great Grandchildren, Xurriauh Cerda, Delilauh Cerda, ZykelTaylor, LJ Taylor, and Ezra Johnson.
