Dee Furr passed away July 14, 2022 in McKinney, Texas at the age of 91. She was born to James and Etta (Rucker) Callahan on September 13, 1930 in Celina, Texas.
Dee was a graduate of Celina High School. On July 15, 1949, she married Ralph Furr in Celina, Texas. She enjoyed reading and taking care of her loved ones. Dee was a member of Rhea’s Mill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Huber of Prosper, Texas; daughter, Sherry Stroope of Prosper, Texas; granddaughter, Beth Armstrong and husband, James of Pearland; granddaughter, Brooke Stroope and significant other, Thomas Hunt of New York; granddaughter, Amanda Huber of Prosper, great grandson, Wesley Armstrong of Pearland.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Ralph Furr.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the Cottage Hill Cemetery in Celina, Texas. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Alzheimer's Association:
