Following an extensive two-year battle with cancer, Debra Ann Wortham Crouch left this life, for life eternal with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven. She passed away peacefully on December 7, 2021, surrounded by her family. Debbie was known and loved by many for her fun-loving personality, charming wit, and ability to make those around her overcome with laughter. Her memory will be cherished by all those whose lives she touched.
Debbie was born February 20, 1954, in Sherman, Texas to James William Wortham and Betty Jo Short Wortham. She married Freddy Gale Crouch on May 3, 1984, in Whitewright, Texas, where she was a life-long resident and member of Pilot Grove Baptist Church. Debbie completed her degree at Grayson College, concluded her professional career after 30 years at Texas Star Bank in Van Alstyne, and retired as a Vice President in 2007.
She is survived by her husband, Freddy Crouch; daughter, Mandie McKissick and husband Brad; step-sons, Todd and Jeffrey Crouch; grandchildren, Jace and Jaelyn Crouch; mother, Betty Wortham; sisters, Gail Alexander and Tammy Francis; brother, Jimmy Wortham.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021, from 6 to 7pm at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, 201 W. Maple Street, Whitewright, Texas.
