Deborah Marie (Griffith) Schroeder of Plano, Texas passed away on June 21, 2020 at the age of 66. She was born on February 12, 1954 to George Warren Griffith and Marjorie Joan (Brolin) Griffith in Ortonville, Minnesota. Deborah married David Schroeder on September 23, 1978 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Deborah’s primary love in life was her children and family. Her life revolved around them.
Deborah and David always had a love for the water. They spent many years with their boats on Lake Texoma. She also liked to travel to see family members for various activities.
Deborah loved to travel, she and David took many cruises together and also loved visiting Playa del Carman, Mexico.
Deborah had a deep belief in God. She was very active in the church choir over the years.
She had many friends during her lifetime. Her family and friends will miss her deeply.
She is at peace with the Lord Almighty and suffers no more.
Deborah is survived by her husband, David Schroeder of Plano, Texas; children, Jacy Peterson and husband, Greg of Plano, Texas, Derek Utley of Woodville, Texas and Jacque Schroeder of Woodville, Texas; grandchildren, Kyli, Keenan, Kierra, Zander, Zane and Zaida; great-granddaughter, Callie Rae; mother, Marjorie Prusha of Plano, Texas; 5 brothers; 1 sister; 1 half-brother and 1 half-sister.
She was preceded in death by her dad, George Griffith; brother, Max Griffith and her grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the American Kidney Foundation in her name or the North Texas Food Bank.
A private memorial will be held Friday with the family.
