Deborah “Debby” Harshaw, age 69, of Parker, Texas, passed away March 3, 2012, in Wylie, Texas. Debby was born January 24, 1943, in Buffalo, New York, to Harry H. and Vivian Matilda Theresa (Fischer) Hall. She married John Frederick “Fred” Harshaw on October 23, 1965, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1979, they relocated to Parker, Texas where she lived until her death. They were married for nearly 43 years until Fred's death in 2008. Debby was a social research contractor employed by various agencies throughout her career. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed nothing more than being at the bridge table with some of her closest friends. She also enjoyed a fine scotch now and again.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Lohman and husband, James of Wylie, Texas; son, John Harshaw and wife, Erica of Round Rock, Texas; granddaughters, Kailey Harshaw and Emily Harrah; grandsons, Brayden Harshaw and Daniel Harrah; and her German Shorthaired Pointer, Dan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vivian and Harry Hall and husband, Fred Harshaw.
A Remembrance Gathering will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
