Debby Yates, age 69, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on June 29, 2023. She was born on June 2, 1954, to Wanda Janell (Corley) and Weldon Jesse Bell in Memphis, Tennessee. On April 29, 1978, Debby married Jimmy N. Yates in Frisco, Texas. Debby was a member of Frisco Baptist Church.
Debby is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jimmy Yates of Frisco, Texas; her three children, Ryan Yates and his wife, Melissa of Nacogdoches, Texas, Meredith Rodriguez and her husband, Chris of Frisco, Texas, Molly Huff and her husband, Garrett of McKinney, Texas; her seven grandchildren, Isaac Yates, Hannah Yates, Jaken Rodriguez, Warren Huff, Ronen Rodriguez, Neeli Rodriguez, Wyatt Huff.
Debby was preceded in death by her brother, Weldon Jay Bell and her parents, Janell and Weldon Bell.
Debby was a loving wife, mother, and Mimi. She was the ultimate entertainer, a loyal friend, and the life of the party. Her most favorite role in life was being a Mimi and she loved going on adventures with all of her grandchildren. She was a bright light that will be missed by many.
Family and friends are invited to a Visitation at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 E. Main Street, Frisco, Texas 75033, on Sunday, July 2, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Frisco First Baptist Church, 7901 E. Main Street, Frisco, Texas 75034, on Monday, July 3, 2023, beginning at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery, 11400 FM 2478, Celina, Texas 75099.
