Debbie Ann (Pierce) Huffman of McKinney, Texas passed away on June 20, 2019 at the age of 66. She was born on April 10, 1953 to John F. and Marcia Jane (Malone) Pierce in Waltham, Massachusetts. The oldest of 5 siblings, she grew up in Milton, Massachusetts and graduated with Honors from Milton High School in 1971 where she was a cheerleader and an accomplished synchronized swimmer. She attended Boston College from 1971-1972 where she majored in German Studies. Adventurous and courageous, Debbie moved to Frankfurt, Germany at age 18 where she became a tour guide for American Express, and enjoyed traveling throughout Europe. There she met Fred C. Huffman and they returned to the states and married in 1974 in Milton, Massachusetts. They then moved to Dallas, Texas where they raised their 2 beautiful daughters. Debbie enjoyed a highly successful business career as a National Sales Manager for multiple major financial institutions. She was a loving and devoted mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, aunt, neighbor and friend. Spending time with her daughters and family was her life’s joy, especially with her grandson, Connor, who was the light of her life. Hard working and intensely creative, she had a passion for interior design, and her home was always beautiful and welcoming to all. She was an amazing cook, an avid gardener and voracious reader. Besides her precious family, beautiful flowers, hummingbirds, lighthouses, and Cape Cod were a few of her favorite things.

Debbie is survived by her daughters, Aynsley Tate and husband, Jason of Huntsville, Alabama and Alyssa Huffman of Dallas, Texas; grandson, Connor Tate of Huntsville, Alabama; stepmother, Elena Pierce of Easton, Massachusetts; siblings, Sandra Pierce Usina of Bonita Springs, Florida, Bonnie Pierce Bynum of Denton, Texas, Bill Pierce and wife, Delicia of Rhome, Texas, Donna Schmidt and husband, Bill of Mansfield, Massachusetts and Susan Ober and husband, Tim of Atkinson, New Hampshire; nieces and nephews, Ashley Bynum, Sean Bynum, Denae Pierce, Tristen Pierce, Elizabeth Pierce-Searles, Jaclyn Schmidt-Walsh, Tyler Schmidt, Brian Schmidt, Charlie Ober, Maddy Ober; and great-niece, Danica Murphy; her life-long best friend Janis Coleman of Milton, Massachusetts, and beloved by many other family and friends too numerous to mention.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Pierce; her mother, Marcia Pierce Foley; and brother, Jack Pierce.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
