Dean Huff

Dean Huff passed away December 14, 2023 in Frisco, Texas at the age of 69. He was born to Ward Glen and Loretta Marie (Bridenthal) Huff on November 3, 1954 in Akron, Ohio.

He grew up in Green, Ohio where he graduated from Green High School, Institute of Technology, and started a family with Peggy Parker. Together they were blessed with two beautiful children, Sara and Sam. After graduating from technical school, Dean was recruited to Rockwell International and moved his family to Allen, Texas where started his new career. In 1996 Dean started dating Allyson and they married in 1998 and have been together for 25 wonder years. Dean loved sports and expressed that love by coaching his kids in basketball, softball, baseball, soccer, and golf.  This love extended to watching and teaching his grandchildren.

Dean was a perfect husband for Allyson. He was the rock she could lean on; the helping hand she needed and the kind heart that would help any and everyone. He could fix everything and fixed many things for friends, family and even acquaintances. Dean’s patience was unlimited for those that needed help and he knew exactly what help to give.

He is survived by his wife, Allyson Huff of Allen, Texas; daughter, Sara Michel and husband, Steve of Denver, Colorado; son, Sam Huff and wife, Andrea of Allen, Texas; son, Jared Banker of Ft. Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Tyler, Flint, and Vaughn; brother, Jim Huff; brother, Denny Huff; sister-in-law, Linda Huff; ex-wife, Peggy Parker and numerous other loving family and friends.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents Ward and Loretta Huff, brothers, Jerry and Dale Huff, and sister, Karen Jones.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.  The family will receive guests for a visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday evening at the funeral home.
