Dawn Muntz Drish, age 47, of Allen, Texas, passed away October 5, 2007, at her home. Dawn was born February 3, 1960, in Dubuque, Iowa to Richard and Delores (Tarnutzer) Muntz. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Dubuque where she was a member of the basketball team and the track team. On May 19, 1984 she married Dennis Drish in Dubuque, Iowa. Dawn was employed with AT&T for eight years as an IT manager. Prior to working at AT&T she was with EDS for 10 years in the IT department. She is survived by her husband, Dennis; sons, Leigh and Eric Drish of Allen; parents, Delores and Richard Muntz of Dubuque; sisters, Peggy Gibson and husband Tom of Dubuque, Laurie Nemmers and husband Randy also of Dubuque; brothers, Steve and wife Lisa of LeGrand, Iowa, Randy of Dubuque; father-in-law, Ron Drish; brothers-in-law, Dave, Dan, Duane and Doug Drish; mother-in-law, Jan Drish; grandparents, Lucille and Nick Tarnutzer, Arnold and Maude Muntz. nieces and nephews, Shayne Olsen, Misty Herring, Codi Nemmers, Maria, Sarah, and Nick Muntz, Destiny, Jason, Kayla, Miranda, Amanda, Danielle, Morgan, Tanner and Emily Drish and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Muntz. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 8, 2007 at First Baptist Church of Allen with Rev. James Craver officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
