David Wayne Brown of Princeton, Texas passed away May 13, 2019 at the age of 62. He was born June 30, 1956 to Albert Brown and Willia Vern (King) Brown in Marshall, Texas. David completed grade school in Marshall and was a 1976 graduate of McKinney High School. He attended Tyler Junior College. In 1981, David married the love of his life, Paula Anitta Brown and they share two children, ShaQuana and Dwaylon. He worked for Home Interiors and Gifts in McKinney for twenty-two years and the McKinney ISD for the last eighteen years.
David is survived by his wife, Paula Brown of Princeton, Texas; children, ShaQuana Eakins (Andrew) of McKinney, Texas and Dwaylon Johnson (Jazmin) of Denver, Colorado; sister, Valmarie Brown of Garland, Texas; brothers, Aubron Brown (Gloria) of Houston, Texas, Henderson Brown (Vera) also of Houston, Texas, Charles Brown (Ann) of Dallas, Texas, Ernest Brown also of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Jolie Eakins and Landry Eakins; aunts, Juanita Clark, Eleanor Goode, and Ruth Roberson all of Kansas City, Missouri; uncle, Alfonzo King; godson, Charles Cole; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Winnifred Brown, Lorraine Brown; and grandparents, Vernon and Melvina King.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2019 at High Pointe Church of Christ, 3201 North Central Expressway North, McKinney,Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
