David was born on April 5, 1965, in Tripoli, Libya at Wheelus Air Base, the son of Dr. David Kirby and Bette Thompson. He graduated from Trinity Christian Academy in Plano in 1983. David proudly graduated from Texas A&M University where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets, in Squadron 8. In 1988, David began his nearly 11-year service in the United States Air Force. He achieved the rank of Captain and worked as a B-52 electronic warfare officer and crew instructor during his time at Carswell, Barksdale, and Randolph Air Force Bases. David married Carole Alguire in 1992. He received his Master's in Industrial Psychology in 1993 from Louisiana Tech University. A patriot, David worked at Raytheon Technologies for nearly 20 years, working on multiple programs supporting the military and country. He was a devoted father and husband. An avid Aggie, there was no one more passionate in their following of A&M sports. His greatest joy in life was to watch and coach his children in all of their activities, never missing a game or event. David made a significant impact on every child he coached and every person he met. His first priority was to always put his family first and do whatever he could to make their lives happier. David's favorite place to be was sitting on the porch at Lake Texoma and playing dominos with his family. His strong Christian faith was evident in his daily life through his selfless service and love for everyone.
