David Andrew “Andy” Lilliston of McKinney, Texas passed away on January 5, 2022 at the age of 69. He was born on October 15, 1952 to Robert Edward Lilliston and Kathryn Elizabeth (Skow) Lilliston in Kansas City, Missouri. Andy graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree, and he was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. He married Jane Kepple on June 1, 1974 in Manhattan, Kansas. Andy worked for AC Nelson for 25 years as the Marketing Research VP. He then went to work for FedEx as an IT Manager until his retirement. Andy loved running 5k races and just completed his last 5K in May. Andy and Jane were great foster parents at Passport For Paws, always volunteering to go to the shelter to help out a dog in need. He really loved the ocean, especially the outer banks. Andy was the consummate family man and cherished grandpa as well as favorite uncle to his nieces and nephews. He was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church and their Men’s Club in McKinney, Texas.
Andy is survived by his wife, Jane Lilliston of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Melanie Lilliston and wife, Becky of Maryland; son, Drew Lilliston and wife, Clarisa of Denton, Texas; sisters, Patricia Lilliston of Denver, Colorado and Barbara Lilliston of New York City, New York; grandchildren, Cadence Ault, Hadley Lilliston and Smith Lilliston; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Kathryn Lilliston; granddaughter, Millie Lilliston and his sister, Jamie Godowns.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Monday evening, January 10, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Masks will be required for all services.
