David Ray Spadoni, beloved husband and father, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home on December 12, 2022 at the age of 82.
David grew up in the St Louis, Missouri area where he lettered in basketball and baseball at Ferguson High School. While in high school, he met and later married his high school sweetheart, Marlene Menzemer.

After retirement his love for gardening and land scaping led him to pursue and achieve a Master Gardeners certification.
With a servant’s heart he used his skills to contribute to several local philanthropic projects.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene, the love of his life; son, Kevin Spadoni and wife, Laura; daughter, Kimberly Criscuolo and husband, Lance; brother, Ronald Spadoni and wife, Patricia; sister, Karen Byers and husband, David; brother, Mark Spadoni and wife, Sherry; sister-in-law, Judy Spadoni; numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, loved ones and friends.

“Who is that man with the gentle face,
Who in his youth kept a hectic pace,
To provide for his family, all that he could,
Who is that man so giving and good?
Who is that man with the ready smile,
Who always took time to sit for awhile?
He was there when his family needed him there.
Who is that man with the gray in his hair?
Who is that man who encouraged us all,
And helped us up when we took a fall,
Spending a lifetime extending his hand,
Who is that kind, compassionate man?
Who is that man who we all adore,
The man who these words of devotion are for?
We’ll tell you with all of the love that we can,
Dave is that truly exceptional man!”
