David Peter Allendorf

Mar 29 1970 - Jun 07 2026

David Peter Allendorf of McKinney, Texas, passed away on June 7, 2026, at the age of 56. He was born on March 29, 1970, in Belleville, New Jersey, to Peter Sidney Allendorf and Suzanne Muckler Allendorf Savage.

David graduated from Stow High School in 1988 and later earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas. He built a successful career in electricity sales and was proud to own and operate his own business, Riverview Power.

David had a deep love for the outdoors and found great joy in fishing and camping. He loved traveling, especially any opportunity to spend time at the beach, and he thoroughly enjoyed spending time on the golf course. A devoted sports fan, David enjoyed watching games and cheering on his favorite teams. He was a lifelong fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and could always be counted on to cheer them on every season. He loved listening to rock and roll music and never passed up a chance to enjoy a good pizza. Nothing, however, brought him more pride than watching his children play baseball and softball. He rarely missed a chance to be in the stands, supporting and celebrating their accomplishments. Above all, David treasured the time he spent with his family and the memories they created together.

David is survived by his son, David Luke Allendorf of McKinney, Texas; his daughter, Brooke Kristine Christy and husband, Sean Christy, of McKinney, Texas; the mother of his children, Kristine Allendorf; his mother, Suzanne Savage; his brother, Peter Sidney Allendorf, Jr.; his sisters, Aimee Jones, Christy Savage, and Katie Scott; and many beloved nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Peter Sidney Allendorf.

David will be remembered for his love of family, his adventurous spirit, his dedication to his work, and his unwavering support of those he loved. He will also be fondly remembered for his sense of humor, which brought laughter and light to those around him. David embraced life wholeheartedly and made lasting memories with the people he loved.

His presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew him.
