David Nolan Potts passed away July 26, 2022 in Farmersville, Texas. He was born on November 21, 1950 in Ft. Worth, Texas to parents, William Daniel Potts and Lyna Lafay (Ferguson) Potts.
David was in the Airforce during the Vietnam era; he was not drafted but volunteered. He joined the Texas National Guard. He received accommodations and awards throughout his life. But the one reward he yearned to hear, was “well done, good and faithful servant.” David was baptized and loved the Lord.
David married Twila Telchik on September 20, 2003 in Farmersville, Texas.
He is survived by his loving wife Twila Potts of Farmersville, Texas, and his brother Daniel Potts Sr. and his wife Marjorie. And niece and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
David is preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held at Hurst’s Fielder-Baker Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 5-7:00PM. The graveside service will be at Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 10:00AM.
