David Michael Barstow

David Barstow, husband, father, friend. Passed away unexpectedly on October 14th, 2025, at the age of 50 in McKinney, TX. He was born March 2nd, 1975, in Ft. Worth, TX, to Mike Barstow and Debra Barstow (Cosby). David graduated from Western Hills High School, located in Benbrook, TX in 1994.

Following graduation, he did several jobs, ending with working at Pittsburgh Paints as a driver and customer service representative since 2007. He always put his all into any job he was doing.

Outside of work, he had a strong love of cars and would attend any event he could pertaining to them. Always inviting all to come. He once was a very active and winning drag racer. He loved Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. He would celebrate all year long. He loved a good Dr. Pepper, any day. He loved his friends and family and hanging with them any chance he could get. He always enjoyed telling stories of the past, no matter how many times he told them. Known for his goofy sense of humor. He will be missed by many.

He married Angela Barstow on June 11th, 2005, in McKinney, Texas. They were married for 20 years.

He is survived by his son, Tyler Barstow of Leonard, Texas; his beloved brothers Matt and Kevin Barstow of Benbrook, TX and a host of other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike Barstow and Debra Barstow (Cosby).

There will be a celebration of life versus a funeral, to be announced later. His final act of kindness was to give the gift through organ donation to hopefully help others in need and then will be cremated per his wishes.
