David Richard Locke, age 52, of Frisco, Texas passed away on June 8, 2008 at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano. He was born on March 21, 1956 in San Jacinto, Texas to Richard and Marian (Bennett) Locke. David travelled extensively visiting Israel, Brussels, Germany, Ireland, Scotland, Japan, The Philippians, Turkey and all 50 States. David grew up in Chelmsford, Massachusetts and attended Georgia Tech. He lived in Colorado, Maryland and spent 17 years living in Pocatello, Idaho until deciding this year to move to Frisco, Texas. He has worked for AMI Semiconductors for nearly 20 years. He enjoyed good food and good times with his friends and family. An avid sports fan, David loved the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos. He is survived by his son, James Locke and his wife, Megan of Valdosta, Georgia; four sisters, Barbara Dimberg and her husband, Karl of Chester, Connecticut, Linda Valenta of Idaho, Carolyn Cooper and husband, Curt of California, Shelli Sellers and husband, Rob of Waco, Texas; nieces, Tina Ellis, Sarah Arnio, Meredith Sellers and Phoebe Cooper; nephews Curtis and Logan Sellers and Nick Valenta. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 13, 2008 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco TX 75034.
