David Albert Davis

August 15, 1955 - August 9, 2013

David Albert Davis, Sr., age 57 of The Colony, Texas passed away on August 9, 2013 in Carrollton, Texas.  He was born on August 15, 1955 in Del Rio, Texas to Joe G. and Floribel (Garza) Davis.  David married Mary Ann Clubb on March 15, 1975 in Del Rio.  He worked for the United States Postal Service and was a member of the Methodist Faith.

David is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Davis of The Colony, Texas; daughter, Kimberly Davis of Lewisville, Texas; son, David A. Davis, Jr., of The Colony, Texas; granddaughters, Taylor Rose Davis and Haleigh Jordan Davis of The Colony, Texas; sisters, Peggy Jo and Monclovio Lara of Del Rio, Texas and Rose Davis of San Angelo, Texas; brother, Joe Daniel and Juanita Davis of Del Rio, Texas; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. 

The family will receive friends at a Visitation to be held from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco, Texas.  Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 10:00 AM with Dr. Danny Buster officiating.  Interment will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park.
