David “Burr” Baxter of Prosper, Texas passed away January 1, 2019, at the age of 55. He was born July 27, 1963, to David Rhea Baxter and Margo Sue (Cowan) Baxter in McKinney, Texas. David married Andrea Allison on October 13, 2018, in McKinney, Texas. He was of the Presbyterian Faith.
David is survived by his wife, Andrea Baxter of Prosper, Texas; daughter, Sharla Baxter of Peco, Texas; mother, Margo Baxter of Prosper, Texas; step-daughter, Mackenzie Chesney of Prosper, Texas; sister, Melody Banner and husband, Danny of Prosper, Texas; niece, Macy Banner of Prosper, Texas; and a host of other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Rhea Baxter and son, David Eli Baxter.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Interment is to follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Prosper, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Saturday evening from 7:00 p.m. at 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
