Mr. David Ray Austin, age 53, of Princeton, Texas passed October 24, 2010, at his home. He was born November 14, 1956, in Rockwall, Texas to Rev. Jim and Annie Mae McGee Austin. On June 13, 1975, he married Charlene Gidney Austin in McKinney, Texas. Mr. Austin was a welder and a fence builder. He is survived by his wife, Charlene; daughters, Marla Stephenson and husband, Bryan of Canadian, Texas, Crystal Austin of Liberty Hill, Texas, and Nancy Austin of Princeton, Texas; grandchildren, Rachel Rena Stephenson, Ethan Lynn Stephenson, Emzie Mae Austin, and Kylie Rae Austin; sister, Brenda Austin Hinton of McKinney, Texas and Donna Austin Thomas and husband, Ronnie of McKinney; nieces and nephews, Jacob Harvey Hinton of McKinney, Jessica Thomas Wright and husband, Mikey of Pineland, Texas and Ronny “J.T.” Thomas, Jr. of Canadian, Texas; great-nephew, Caden Wright and great-niece, Raelyn Thomas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 28, 2010, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Bro. Robert McCauley and Rev. Randy Sadler officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson Chapel Cemetery in McKinney. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the David Austin Memorial Fund at Citizen State Bank in Princeton, Texas.
