Glenn & Sandra Sandra & Glenn Godwin, November 5, 2010 I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that you're in my thoughts and prayers Denice Burnside Webb, October 31, 2010 Remembering the summer days in Rowlett running around that screened in porch chasing each other. The old red/rusted pedal car that we pushed each other in. The storm cellar where we all headed when the weather was bad. Summers with four barefooted, happy kids growing up with no worries. Winters huddled in the kitchen around the stove while Aunt Mae cooked dinner. Having Grannie threaten us with her razor strap and Uncle Jim promising to swat us with his cap. And if there was a bit of snow, Uncle Jim hitched Dolly or Pat up to a homemade, flat wooden "sled" and we all got to go for a sled ride. Oh we loved it and would be all wrapped up. David had a cap with ear flaps I believe. A lot of memories. Funny how things forgotten seem to pop up at such times as this. Driving from Rowlett to Princeton to church in that Chevy. Aunt Mae making a pallet for the sleepy children during services. Simple days and loving times. Coleen Vandeventer Kilmer, October 29, 2010 Hopefully your family and friends will shower you with love and memories of happier times and that will help you through your sadness and loss.
