David Ashley Wade, 52, went home to be with His Lord, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. He is the son of David and Glenn Adair (Holley) Wade of Frisco, Texas.
David grew up with his family in Bernardsville, New Jersey. A 26-year resident of Frisco, Texas, David is survived by his parents, David and Glenn Adair Wade of Frisco, Texas; his 2 sisters, (“Big Sis”) Jane Elizabeth Wade of Frisco, Texas, and Julie Ann Tonnies and her husband, Rich of Nazareth, Pennsylvania.
He is the loving Uncle to his nephews and niece, Zachary Lawrence Terlizzese and his wife, Angie of Garland, Texas, Richard Wade Tonnies and his wife, Andrea of Nazareth, Pennsylvania, Alexander Edward “Alex” Tonnies and his wife, Angie of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Taylor Wade Terlizzese of San Antonio, Texas, Victoria Elizabeth “Tori” Terlizzese of Frisco, Texas, and Pierce Christian Terlizzese of Frisco, Texas.
David was an independent owner operator of a long-haul truck. After a tragic fall from the top of his tanker, David spent the last 4 and a half years undergoing multiple surgeries in an attempt to regain the use of his left arm. Following his eleventh surgery on Monday, September 11th, David passed peacefully in his sleep.
David was devoted to serving his family. He enjoyed cooking on the grill, going on food runs, and late-night trips to Braum’s and Krispy Kreme when the “Hot” light was lit.
David was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan and loved to watch the games with his family.
David’s infectious laugh and joyful disposition will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
