With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Davian Jack Spencer Shawn Ward, a bright, joyful, and unforgettable soul who brought immense light to everyone he met. Davian was born on June 18, 2015, in McKinney, Texas, to his proud parents, Spencer Shawn Allen Ward and Cassidy Jackelyn Olson. Though his time with us was far too short, the depth of the love he shared and the joy he brought into the world will leave a lasting footprint.
A proud and active part of the Wylie community, Davian was known for his big personality, infectious energy, and a heart as big as his smile. He had a deep love for music and could often be found singing his heart out, filling any room he entered with melody and happiness. When he wasn’t sharing his gift of song, Davian was immersed in the worlds of his favorite larger-than-life characters. He was an enthusiastic fan of Spider-Man, Venom, and Deadpool, drawing inspiration from their strength, wit, and heroic adventures. He approached life with that same bold, heroic spirit every single day. He loved playing with his brother and spending time outside. Davian always wanted to be with his family and enjoyed late night video games and movie nights.
He is survived by his loving parents, Spencer and Cassidy; brother, Draeton Gregory David Ward, as well as an extensive network of family, friends, and community members whose lives were profoundly touched by his presence. Davian's laughter, his songs, and his vibrant spirit will never be forgotten.
